St. Peter 1905 First Parish in Archdiocese- St. Michael Parish, Dogwood, Indiana dating back to 1820 and reported to be the oldest parish in what is now the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. The edifice above, believed to be the second church on the spot, was razed in 1949.
