The Catholic Community Spiritual Life and Worship Commission (SLWC) plans and provides opportunities for the spiritual development for all members of our faith community through liturgical celebrations, retreats, prayer experiences, and programs for spiritual enrichment. Membership of the SLWC is composed of the heads of the committees which fall under its guidance.
Oversees and encourages
the planning of liturgical worship of our Catholic Community (liturgy)
proper formation of all liturgical ministers
the practice of prayer and devotion
annual parish mission, retreats, days of recollection, pilgrimages
Groups under the guidance of the Spiritual Life and Worship Commission are:
Liturgy Committee (SJLC)
The SJLC works to foster “full, conscious, and active participation” of the people in worship and encourages the gifts and proper formation of all liturgical ministers. This committee consists of the heads of the various liturgical ministries.Chair: Jane Lasher

Parish Mission Planning Committee
The Catholic Community Mission Planning Committee coordinates the annual Catholic Community mission. This is usually a three-day period of prayer and renewal lead by a retreat director.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Children ages 2-5 (not yet in K), are invited to celebrate God's Word during the 9:00 a.m Sunday Mass turns preparing weekly lessons of the parish assist in the childcare.

Divine Mercy Cenacle Groups
Divine Mercy Cenacle Groups have as their apostolate praying with and for those who are dying. Their spirituality is formed by the Divine Mercy Exercises and the writings of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska.
