Pastoral Council
The Catholic Community Pastoral Council exists to provide a structure for the pastor and laity to work together for the sake of God’s Kingdom. Composed of elected, ex officio, and appointed representatives, the Council fosters participation of the entire parish in the life and mission of the Church. Although a consultative body, it collaborates with the pastor in articulating a pastoral vision, long-range planning, and addressing pastoral issues.
Members of the Pastoral Council are called forth by the Pastor and the council after a period of prayerful discernment. Membership consists of two representatives from each parish, the chairpersons of the commissions, and the chairperson of the Finance Council.
The Pastoral Council meets on the second Thursday of each month.
